I'm looking for suggestions for my perfect campsite.

It would be in a beautiful, quiet, rural area but would be walking distance to a good pub / village.

It would have some kind of basic playground (even a single swing would do) as it makes the world of difference to my 4 year old.

If it could be in the Lakes then it would be heaven.

Any ideas?

How about Wyeside Lakes, in Lancashire. Lovely Rural setting. It does have a bar/restaurant but it is lovely and quaint. No arcade or shop so not commercial sort of site and it has a playground.
