Usually stay at Rountree Park as with a MH we prefer sites near to town or a bus route. Couldn't get in last November so went to Ashfield Touring Park. Small friendly site about 3 miles from York, near a Park and Ride. Also easy to catch a bus if you walk to Dunnington.
we've just been to stay at a site near Naburn Lock its a working farm and its so quiet, we loved it, not sure if its on here, will have a look. It's called Home Farm and it was only £10 a night with electric (no extras)
Just checked and it is on, its a stillingfleet

We stayed at the York Touring Cararvan Site in July last year and would highly recommend it and we're almost certainly going back again this summer. It's listed in Ratty's link above.
The site is about 15 mins drive from York and close to the Monks Cross park & ride if you want to bus it in. One of the things we rate sites on is the state of the toilet and shower blocks and these were absolutely immaculate.
It's also next door to a golf driving range which we made use of and had a great laugh....It brought back memories of when I used to play golf.

You're still allowed to play golf now...but only if it is a bank holiday Wednesday and I'm allowed to come too...!
------------- Why can't we live in the tent..?
