Thank you for your reply re Moreton-in-marsh and Broadway.  Does Broadway have any food shops eg., Butcher, Baker, (not Candlestick-maker, we have electric!!!) etc, and a chip shop by any chance?  We had more or less decided on Moreton..... then read your reply so now thinking of Broadway!!!!!.  We have seen photos of Broadway site and it looks lovely.   We hope to come in June, but as we are coming from Central Scotland we hope to stay for 2 weeks, would Broadway 'support' us for that long?!!  Thanks again.  Ethel

we havent stayed there just went for a days visit and loved it.the town is small and touristy. im not sure about shops in broadway but im sure someone else will know and reply. but evsham is very close and has the usual supermarkets etc. on the outskirts of the town. evsham is quite a nice place and  on the river. i did wonder about a chip shop my self. there is a garage opposite the site and i think they had a shop. i'm not sure if i read something about this in the cc sites guide.

i think if this is very important to you the site managers would be happy to tell you if you phone them. they were very nice and friendly when we called in.

good luck dont leave it to long to book i think they fill up quickly.

it is much nicer than morton we went to have a look at the famous tuesday market and were disappointed.  we will be there for a few nights from the 7th april.

good luck, nora

have you read the reviews about broadway on this site .

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=3782

i am not sure about two weeks here. i have just noticed the you hope to visit in june. i dont think you will have any trouble booking in for that time of year.

if it was me i would book for one week and then decide when you are there.  there are a lot of pretty cotswold villages in the area but it depends on what you like.  stratford on avon is not far, worcester and warwick castle.  have you looked at the tourist information site for the cotswolds. i always check these out when we are going somewhere different. i hope this has been of some help. nora.

i notice you live in scotland. (thats a long way i am hoping to visit scotland next year for the first time)
