Welcome to the site.
Get asking as many questions as you can before you set out, this site is great to to get answers for anythig you think of and somethings you don't. There is no such thing as a stupid question. We've all been there. I've found it really good for makng sure you don't buy tat. there is a lot of stuff out there that seems like a good idea but is a waste of time.
Get yourself on tent talk, There are often a few quirks with tents and hopefully someone will have the same model and can come out with a few tips.
The best tip is. Have a great time and remember it is traditional to argue when putting the tent up.
