I'm looking for a campsite on or near the west coast of scotland - has anyone got any recommendations?

We only have a tent and are looking for a quiet site with basic amenities.

hello and welcome, give Oban Divers a try, a nice wee quiet site not too far from oban.

There are loads more but that one springs to mind first.

I reviewed the site after we visted last year - a real gem!

Thanks for the responses so far - Oban Divers does look a nice site and i'll definitely put it on the shortlist.

I would go with the Oban Divers site too.

If you go to the site at Oban you can get the ferry over to Mull. The wildlife there is amazing.  Book a trip with Wildlife Expeditions, they will meet you at the ferry.  When we went we saw White Tailed Sea Eagles, Golden Eagle and otters plus lots of others.
