Its not Whiteacres the lake is a good size with pegs. Lots of kids with not much stuff but a few with more. Probably pole and unhooking mat rather than bivvy and bait alarm. Nice angling centre in Highbridge

Other half had a great time last August with 12+ Carp in one day varying between 10-16lb. (He was sure he had missed biggers ones! Chap next to us confirmed he had a 21lb mirror a few days before. Worth a go along the canal stretch far side of the lake (Lakeside field) fishing small inlet/island.

yes it is, and thanks for the idea will pass on to hubby to go canal stretch, we are up there bank hols end of the month,on the lakeside hardstandings lucky we have just booked up today thought all the lakeside would have been taken at the end of the month,then we are back up again for a week in july after truckfest, think you can tell we like this peaceful site,hubby fishing and me my book and the bottles of wine!!! lots of the fisherman i see there have all there gear, just checked out the weather looks like it is improving Enjoy your fishing
my hubbys as fished the pool a few times bait is meat and pellets on pole can be good fishing but there is always a strong wind at burnham and some times it looks more like the sea than pool
have a good hol as a good car boot on sundays and market mondays
the only thing we did think of is the birds, lots of swans and the migrating canadian geese and all the ducks, hope they keep a good eye on all the birds, and get no poorly ones,
