Can anyone direct us to a campsite within 45 minutes or so from Newport, near Telford, Shropshire where we may be likely to be able tp book for the May Bank Holdiay weekend, Friday 28th April to Sunday 30th April?.
We need to attend the Falconry Fair at Chetwynd Park but all their pitches are booked. I have also tried the Canal Side Caravan Park at Grindley Brook neat Whitchurch, also fully booked. Any suggestions?

Hi we have just booked Sparchford farm for that weekend - it sounds nice and in the right location for you near Ludlow or try Elm Cottage, outside winsford that was nice. we went a couple of weeks ago if you do use this site as for a pitch at the bottom of the park away from the entrance.

There is always Lickhill near Bewdley as used for UKcampsite meets.
May be just a tad too far out for you though.
We live on the Newport side of Telford and can get there in about 45 mins without speeding!

Stayed at Severn Gorge a couple of years ago - nice site.
We are booked in at Oxon Hall for this Friday for 3 nights over the BH. Looking forward to it - only got back from Yorkshire today - can't wait to get back out there!
