Back Rock Sands in wales, have a beach right in front of the camp site. People would go to the beach at night and have camp fires, safe as tide did not come all the way in. Shower block not the best though, at least when we were there last year.
Very basic sight only open for one month of the year, however, they let you have fires by the tents and even have a wood pile that you can get wood from to burn. Has it's own private beach also.

Hello last year we went to Park Farm near bodium castle which sold you a large bag of fire wood for £5, (the farmer drove around and asked if you wanted to buy it) We really enjoyed the camp fire and sang many songs while toasting marshmallows!! But the site was not the best for cleanliness, although it does say that the toilet blocks have been renovated for the 2006 season. We went over the bank holiday in August and the site was really busy but it was a large farm and you could pitch wherever you wished to which did help. The area was fab with Bodium, Eastbourne and Hastings not far away which are great places to see.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
