Hi there guys

Can anyone recommend a great campsite Dorset area for  the last Bank Holiday weekend and first time camper with a 7 year old?

Won't have EHU so good facilities needed and we have a dog.

Any recommendations will be looked into.

You all know your stuff hence why I'm asking you.

Thanks

Jodie

Hi I hope the above link works, first time i've tried to do it.

We stayed here last year in August and it was really nice good facilities you get free use of the leisure centre with indoor and outdoor pool.....lovely!! shower block was nice and clean, on site shop well stocked, but as with most quite pricey however supermarket pretty close and theres also chippy and off licence are on a small row of shops 5 min drive away.

Only thing is we didn't have a dog back then so you might have to check with them on that. We would return to this on ourselves if they do allow dogs (as we now have one)

Hi Jodie, loads of good sites around that area depends what you want really if you want a club, pool etc try Oakdene if you want quite and peaceful then Holmsley is brilliant, Sahmba is a smaller park friendly and still enough to do. Sandy Balls is another good quality park .Have a look on UKCampsite.co.uk listing typing in the above and you can read for yourself what others think.

Good luck

Theresa

Thanks guys

Will go and have a look now. We're going to go away end of May Bank holiday so need to get booked now.

Your advice, as always, is invaluable
