I really like the sound of this campsite for a family break sometime in the summer. It looks and sounds beautfiul. However I see from other people's comments that it has strict rulings about noise after 10.pm. Just really wanted to judge what that meant in reality. Me and my OH like a glass or two of wine and a chat in our tent once little one has gone to bed. We usually hit the sack at 11ish. Nothing loud but still - is this acceptable or is it an absolute "lights out" rule at 10 with people having to go to bed then because any noise is unacceptable? If so its a bit too early for us nightowls. We HATE rowdy types who are noisy, play music or screech at 1 in the morning by the way. We just laugh quietly and chat. Very civilized!

You'll have no problems having a quiet(ish) drink at that time. We had a great time there last year and on one occasion stayed up well in to the early hours with two other families (who we'd just met). The owners are really nice people and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Does this campsite have ehu and what other facilities, it sounds fab.
Yeah. There are 3 small fields, two of which have hook-ups. Very good pitch sizes. There is also a small field for games etc. There is a shop (not overpriced), laundry facilities and a shower block. There is a Somerfield supermarket in Kingsbridge (about 10 mins drive).
You'll see from the reviews that the owners are really quite wonderful
We sat up past 10 on a few occasions last year just having a drink and having a chat, so there wont be any problems. There are no rowdies and most kids were being tucked up by then anyway.
Stayed here too ....... absolutely fantastic. I probably didn't word my review that well ..... as said before most of the kids tucked up in bed by 10ish and didn't come across any late night noise at all. Seem to remember they did hand us a sheet of paper when we arrived with a few 'pointers', and one of those was no late night noise.
Lovely site, lovely owners and a fantastic area. You won't regret booking !
