at the end of this month i'm taking my son and his friend away for a week to Dinarth Hall in North Wales, reading the two site reports posted by members it didn't sound to brilliant but have any members been this season and if so what experiences have you had?

We went in September 2005. Although the surroundings are nice, the facilities aren't very good. Even though we have our own shower and cassette loo and love the area where the site is, we wouldn't go back. Having just been to Kneps Farm just near you where the facilities are first class, it shows that even when a site is full standards can be maintained. At Dinarth Hall it wasn't clean and there weren't many people there.

Of all the things I miss. I miss my mind the most!!!!!
i was there last week for 4 nites and i had no complaints the caravan and trailer pitches are in one field nice and level the camping field is just over a small fence and its level but a few bumps here and there but nothing to be alarmed .The toilets are painted brilliant white with brown quarry tiles on the floor 7 toilets in the gents stainless steel (urenials) and 4 washand basins, shaver point and plenty of mirrors ok bit dated but spotlessly clean the showers is sited at the main gate big and spacious hot and powerful and free only draw back here you got to walk from the campsite through the farm yard to get to them but it is a concrete road .Near the gents toilet there is an elsan point and grey water disposal point and next to the ladies there is dish washing and iron and dryer and 4 slide top skips at the entrance of the camping field for rubbish and plenty of water taps here and there and a bit of a play area in the top corner of the caravan pitches it cost me 14 pounds and 2 pounds for electric per night that was for two of us and nobody charge me for the awning and the entrance and the road to it is very wide and easy to get in and out ok i seen many a site with more modern facilities but at a cost i was very happy what i got for my money and the area is fantastic . Get very busy at weekend but mon to fri very quiet next time i am in the area i will go back

Hi mjones, we went in April this year 2A & 2C (6yrs & 12yrs), had a good week, yes it was quiet there, but the kids were happy messing around in the big field, the play park was also good according to my 6yr old, facilities were fine in my opinion, youngest enjoyed going to see the cows in the shed and the chickens at the farm area, plenty to do in the surrounding area.
We had beautiful weather but a chilly prevailing wind, we were able to pitch where we wanted, so if your in a caravan, I would park close (back the van onto the wall) to the wall to get some shelter just incase it's windy when you go. (if the wind is in the same direction of course!!) Have a gr8 time
