Can anyone recommend a site close to a beach in Devon or Cornwall. Don't want loads of entertainment. Would like reasonable size pitch, no electric required. Decent play area for children? Thanks.

Have a look at Tregarton Park, near Mevagissy. Lovely and clean site, not overcrowded, no bar but adequate shop selling fresh pasties!! Plenty of room for kiddies to play. We stayed last August and enjoyed ourselves.
Lakefield in camelford North Cornwall is lovely. Also not in Devon but Dorset.A campsite in Charmouth.Seadown is alovely site, the beach is lovely only 5 mins from the site through the sites private green. It is 3 miles from Lyme Regis, the area is famous for its fossils. The toilets and showers are immaculate,it has private cubicles for washing ,look it up see what you think.

We went to a site in Devon last year called Big Meadow, it is between Ilfracombe and Coombe Martin. It is a lovely site has a fantastic play area for kids which is surrounded by a small brook, so kids can swing over it. The owners are lovely people, and every evening he takes the kids for rides in a trailer on the back of his tractor. The site has its own small bay but you do have to go down lots of steps to get to it, and if you are on the top field you overlook the sea.
We are going back to it again this year.
Think they have a website - try googling it.
Have a look, any questions - let me know.
