Hi, looking to go camping over the weekend, but want a site within about 1 and 1/2 hours drive from Manchester. Dont want a site that is going to be really busy,maybe quiet country farm site. Any ideas??

I checked on AA routefinder and it should be about 1 hour 20 mins from you.
We went there last weekend (in the rain!) and it is a nice, peaceful site with lots of room. There is also a swimming pool for the kids (small charge). Not far from Harrogate, and some lovely scenary around there.

The one in the post above is sposed to be nice tho been looking to go there ourselves.
A Quiter one although i dont know if this would be too far is upper car in Pickering.. or wolds way in Malton nice sites in and around Malton and Pickering I can recommend either of those 2
