What a lovely place. Our first night in our caravan at the Argyll Caravan site just outside Inverary Argyll Caravan Site
Here's the view from our 'bedroom window' Bloomin' marvellous.
We had a great time, the wind and rain came lashing down, (at 3am it woke us up it was so violent) but our little Tornado stayed dry and warm inside, fantastic. Put our awning up (sans tent pegs so it created 'buckets' of water on roof which we had to keep tipping out) and in retrospect the poles weren't tightened enough to keep the awning taut to let the water run off. PLUS we didn't lower the corner poles enough either. as you can see. BUT, we had a fantastic time and have the knowledge that however bad the weather gets we're going to be ok as we gallop across Europe to our new home in Bulgaria. Gad, i love caravanning. What fun, can't wait to do a run down from our new home to Greece or Turkey (our new neighbours). Incidentally, our land is easy big enough for caravanners who want to go that 'extra mile'. So if anyone wants to come to Bulgaria we've got a septic tank, water and electricity waiting. The road is a 'b' though. More of a 1 mile dirt track. I'm not worried about the 3,000 miles to Bourgas, it's that last mile i'm having nightmares about. I'm hoping that our builders will flatten it with their trucks before we get there.
