Hi Barbara, sorry it took a while to reply this site just keeps rolling a long. Its in Haverthwaite, an old quarry but surrounded by oak trees, we love it cos its not far from Ulverston. Its called Bigland Hall, and they have a few spaces left for tourers. Where are you in the country?

Organised people are just too lazy to look for things.
We are in Liverpool and are looking in Lancashire up to Cumbria. Will take a look at this site for when we buy. Most importantly, do they accept dogs, is there a pub near for meals and the occasional drink?

They do accept dogs, we have two. They are really friendly, Ricky and Kay. The site is owned by one of the Barron family Chris, who can be seen on his tractor moving rocks. The site is in the early stages of build, and they are putting a waterfall in over the rock face. Its mostly statics so it mean the shower blocks never get too full. There is a pub a walk away in the village. Never know we might see you there, if you go tell Ricky its Dawn and Ray, he may show you our site, we are up this weekend, as we try to get most weekends.

We have a seasonal pitch in Lytham, Eastham Hall. You can find details on this site. They accept dogs but have a bit of a waiting list for seasonal pitches. Nearest pub just over a mile away, but hey, who needs a pub, you can have your own bar cause we've made some great friends there.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
