I don't know if you're just there for the wedding Nicholls, but if you've got a week to spare, its well worth staying for a holiday while you're there. Lots to do round about, and the people are really friendly, you will be made very welcome, we were.

The Ranch is on the edge of Maybole beside the road leading up towards Culzean Castle. It's quite unusual for a CC site in that it has an area for statics and an indoor swimming pool, a gym and a sauna. It's excellent for kits because as well as the pool there is also an excellent outdoors play area (including an area for small kids with lots of ride-on toys etc.) and a ball-games and kite-flying field.
