Anyone suggest any good quiet family sites 1 - 1 1/2 hrs from Midlands. Without Clubhouse, but with Childrens play area, and some interesting family things to do in the area.
We are in a tent - it that helps!!

Which part of Midlands. Is Scraborough within that time frame? Our kids love it and we go to a site at Cayton Village which would fit the bill. Look it up under site serach

WE're in West midlands and when we want a quick getaway by the sea, we go to Borth, there are two sites for tents right near the sea front so easy to reach shops etc. Mind you Borth isnt VERY big so depends what you want for entertainment, couple of pubs, few shops and a small amusement arcade (and couple of chip shops!) Not sure of the names o sites, one has statics, but the smaller ones just touring.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
