we have just brought a new tent, the nabraska xxl

its 23 ft long and have noticed quite alot of places have ristrictions on the lenght of the tent.

ive looked at the campsite search theres so many nice places but dont want to ring round all of them trying to find out the size of there pitches

any recomendations?

There a sticky post at the top of the camp sites forum called 'sites accepting large tents' - it's kept up to date.. have a look ion there.

have you used your tent yet?

were still trying to save the money to go now we just paid out all that money to buy the tent lol

Have you tried Oakdene - the other Shorefield site just up the road from Forest Edge? They have an open tent field where we stayed last bank holiday. Some of the field is marked out in pitches but the middle is fairly open and we had loads of space. We took a Diablo 600 - so quite big and there were no problems. When we were there I saw tents bigger than ours.
