Hello campers,
We're looking for a child friendly (age 4 and 6) campsite in Derbyshire for a 5 day stay in July. Any recomendations gratefully received.

Thank you Rabb uk - that's helpful of you. Sounds like you've explored the area.
Thanks for the info about where to find reviews on this website Magically but I have looked at that link and was a bit stumped. We have a tent and alot of those reviews seem to be for caravaners.

Hiya, in summer 2004 we went to Coopers campsite in Edale in Derbyshire. There were lots of families there and it was a great campsite. Might be just what you are after.

All tents apart from only a few statics at one edge. And it was only £7pn for two adults then, so it was reasonably priced. Take a look

Callow Top at Ashbourne is great for kids, there is a playground and a swimming/paddling pool. It does get very busy though so no good if you like a bit of peace. It should be in the camp site listings.------------- Dawn
