We also enjoyed the piece and quiet when we stayed at one of the campsites in the New Forest. But this time wanted a more seaside holiday.
We're finding it difficult to find somewhere in Bournemouth. Any ideas which are the closest?
When we stayed in the New Forest we were on a motorbike, just me and the girlfriend. We rode over the small hump and into the forest to set up out little tent. An official came to see us and said we were fine so long as we move any rubbish when we left. It was great to wake up in the morning to see the wild ponies walking right past out tent. One of the best camping holidays we've had.
Hope someone can help!

I was going to suggest the campsite search but there arent any in actual Bournemouth. Along that coast you should find some, Christchurch and Poole arent far.
We went there last year, and loved it.Very pretty site nice little stroll into some shops and the village pubs.Shower block a little noisy at night but bearable, and we were right next to it.The non leccy tent fields are very pretty too.

There aren't any campsites now in Bournemouth at all. Nearest is either the New Forest, the A31 at St Leonards or out Poole way - Rockley Park etc. Rockely Park is the only one which can be classed as "seaside" though.
Around Bournemouth is Sandy Balls, Fordingbridge, Lytton Lawns, Barton on Sea nr Lymington, Bashley Park, New Milton, Merley Court, Wimborne to name but a few.
You're spoilt for choice but as others say, none actually in Bournemouth.
