Does any one know of a list of sites that you can just turn up at and that you can't pre book? We are looking to go away every weekend to places near Manchester (up to 2hrs drive), but mainly we are looking to go to South Wales or Devon in the Summer holidays but lots of places are booked and also hate booking and then having to still go if it's pouring down (yes we are rubbish wimps).

you don't have to book with us especially if it not right in seaon, we can normally accomodate at most times of the seaon apart from Bank hols where we are packed full.

Castlerigg hall at Keswick doesn't accept tent bookings - its first come, first served. The downside is that it's a brilliant site and the site full sign goes up quite often !
