Hello has anybody stayed in that area, Cartmell, grange or Flookborough, we are looking for a site to meet up with in laws, we need EHU and toilets and showers.

We stopped at Lakelands which is a large haven site nearby

we have also stayed at lakelands nice site but will be quite expensive at this time of year unless you can get a good deal

The caravan club site Meathop Fell is very close to grange, we have stayed there & found it very good.

I think it is open to non members too.

We to have stopped at LaKELAND very expensive now though, there are a few at Arnside Silverdale and you can get train across or drive

We stopped at Lakeland last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice clean site with plenty of entertainment.

We've stayed at Lakeland - got it on one of their deals. Has the advantage of being within easy reach of places like Windemere, yet with on site entertainment for kids if you don't want to go far. I love the fact that it has both an indoor and outdoor pool. Lat time we were up we used the outdoor pool on one day, beautiful hot day. The next day dawned grey and miserable so we went for a swim in the indoor pool.

We also stayed at Meathop fell CC Site. Very nice, not far from Grange Over Sands.

Thank you to you all, I think we will try the Meathop Fell CC site, I enjoy the peace, and with meeting family we will just want a field, toilets, somewhere to BBQ.
