has ne1 been to a camp site up in bolton le sands just past morecombe called detron gate farm i wanna know wot its like not been in a few years

Hi,

Sorry, I can't tell you what it's like , as I've never camped there, I live within walking distance, and pass it every day on my way to work.

Looks to be popular though, mostly caravans and a few tents.

Whereas the other one in the village, Red Bank seems to be more popular for tents

Hi,

Just read your other thread " places to go ", and don't think either of the sites in the village would be what your looking for.

The 18- 30 site some one mentioned in cornwall sounds a good option.

I live near detron gate and have camped there. It is an excellent site - a bit basic but clean. It has a shop, pool table and a great rear camping field that is flat and it is very cheap. Well worth a visit.
