Depends where you want to go in Surrey! I was working in Guildford until recently and stayed in my van at the Camping/caravanning site at Horsley. It's just off the A3, just outside M25.
really nice site; friendly wardens, clean facilities. They also have a large lake where the fish (big bu**ers; carp, tench) will take bread from your hands. Tents are very welcome
