Hi there, can anyone help!! we are after a campsite(basic) (field+loo) that is very close to a beach and access to a river to launch a dinghy for the kids, we know of Redcliff farm in wareham, dorset, any other suggestions, thanks sadman 1206.

I know of a place in Silverdale Nr Carnforth, North Lancashire, Junct 35 off the M6, it is a very basic site, Maybe a £10 a night, woods, farm site, basic toilet and shower and Beach, Caves, Walks, COUNTRY SIDE. 1 mile from village, it is called Gibraltar Farm, Silverdale. Have a look thay have a web site and reviews.
I am now 36 but speny most of my childhood on that site around the camp fire....

hi shirley, well it certainly looks BASIC, which is just what we want, how close to the beach is it? and is it really only 15min walk to the pub? how far is it to a local shop/supermarket, Many thanks Sadman.
