We are considering the above campsite for a week, next week, but are a bit worried that it will be like a Haven campsite. We want a site with access to a beach, a childrens park maybe and "award winning toilets" but somewhere still a bit peaceful.
I have ready the reviews, and it got good reviews, but wonder if anyone could shed any more light on how "lively" it is.

Hi, i have been for the last 4 years in a static and tourer, i only go october half time holidays, its not like haven sites it was very quiet. not sure the beach is any good as not been, in the summer, shower block is very clean, there is a couple of play areas as well.
Been to the sister site Swn Y Mor just up the road last year and the touring facilities were pitiful - nasty showers (2 of) and loos (2 of) which you needed a key to get into and the touring pitches were cramped (we were in a caravan then). It was very geared towards the statics. There was entertainment and lots of fruit machines etc, not very peaceful. Sorry to be a spoiler and may be the Glan Y Mor is different. The staff were nice though!
Thankyou. We are going now. We plan to book in for 3 nights and if we like it stay for an extra 4 or if we don't, travel on down to a farm site we like the look of. Will post a review when we get back.
