Been looking through lists of campsites for ones near the Sea, dont matter where they are.  Can anyone tell or know of any sites that are right next to the Beach that they have liked??? Or within a few minutes walking distance.

Looking for some to go mid August time.

Thankyou

Looking for Devon Mainly, maybe Wales.  That sorta side of the country.  Not too fussed really to be honest but looked at a few around Devon.

The best place we've been to next to the sea is eweleaze farm:

totally lovely spot, very basic toilets/showers, but right on a private beach - and you can have fires!!

Shell Island, off the cost of Wales.

Read the reviews to find out more.  Its a massive site and you can camp anywhere.  We would go there every wk/end if it was nearer.  The beaches are great - you can have sand, rock pools or shells.  There is a 20 metre rule between tents, which is great. Only one toilet block but there are a few shop, cafe and a bar.  (but you wouldn't know it if you camp a mile away from that!

The other place around that area which is nice is Trearddur Bay,
Isle of Anglesey.  There are a few sites there, cant remember which one we stayed at.  Couldnt find a fish and chips shop very near or a pub but maybe we were just blind!  Great rocks to fish/crab off and lovely little bays to relax in.

Hope that helps a little.
