Is anyone heading down to Trevornick this weekend? We're going Saturday night, arriving Sunday morning and staying for two weeks. We're on Hay Field and it's our second visit........................oh and we can't wait
------------- May/June - Spring Valley
Aug/Sept - Leekworth
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
My nephew and his family and several of his friends are off there for the last two weeks of August for their very first time..camping!!! Oooohhh it had better be as good as all the reviews say otherwise I can see him just upping sticks and moving into a hotel for the whole holiday! What a total waste of a tent and all the equipment that would be
Only 2 weeks and 3 days to Heligan Woods and counting...every bl**dy one of 'em
We have just come back, it was getting very busy on Tuesday when we left, We stayed on the Red field cause we had our dogs. What a lovely beach Holywell is and a nice walk down not so nice back though lol
Can't tell ya what a relief that is for me to hear. As I said, this our nephew and his families first ever holiday under canvas.....so-o-o-o-o-o much depends on a decent site!
Some dry weather would be good too, but as his first week is our second week in Cornwall....that's not such a cert! We're not known for the greatest of holiday weather....sorry....
It was our visit to Trevornick that started us off camping two years ago. I had always said I would never camp, but gave it a go in a eurotent and absolutely loved it. So we went ahead and bought our own tent and now we're off back again and can't wait!

We are off to Trevornick on Saturday (or maybe Fri night if hubby can be persuaded that its a better idea and have a night in the holding field rather than face the traffic, its only from Exeter but with 2 small children its not much fun). We are really looking forward to it as its our first visit and were lucky to get this cancellation as Hendra is our usual. We are on Red field so may see you around !!

We're booked in from Saturday, but we're leaving late tomorrow night and having a leisurely trip down with the kids asleep (please god!) - not much fun Birmingham to Newquay in the heat and traffic with two small children (both under 5) we're on Red 384, looks as though there are a few UKCS peeps going!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
