Hi I know it is a bit late, but looking for a site that will take diablo 600 and is not booked 13 - 19th August, has anyone booked anywhere. Happy to go to Dorset, Somerset, N Yorks. Would like EH but at this stage not bothered

Have you had a look at www.available-pitch.com they might show some pitches left. If not make a long list and phone round.
Good Luck hope you manage to get away.

I had a right job finding places with availabilty also.
The best advice is to make a list, read the reviews, amend the list, then prepare to phone loads.
It appears that half the country has caught the camping bug lately !!

Managed to book one at Cheddar Gorge, after looking at a previous thread on campsites that except large tents.
Thanks for any help

All I can say is that we've booked at Cayton Village near Scarborough at short notice. First time we went we just turned up. Last year we booked for August BH about 3 weeks before and we were pitched across from 2 600s
