I know they had spaces at Tregarton and Heligan Woods recently.
Both Nr St Austell, look them up in the search. Not been to either but both recommended. One by a friend and we are off to Tregarton in 10 days!------------- "Everywhere you go, you always take the weather with you!"

Can you do without the swimming pool and indoors stuff?
If so try Mother Iveys Bay , not too far from padstow.
They have access to their own beach which is a 5 minute walk from the site.
Lots of statics and stuff but they open up a large field for tourers.

I know it's not everyones cup of tea but you could try the Devon Cliffs Haven site, plenty of entertainment and right next to the beach.

what about River Dart Country Park at Ashburton, its lovely, nr Dartmoor and loads to do for kids and free outdoor pool and tennis courts. bar/restaurant...river and woodland walks. I know its not on the beach but a short drive away would take you to Torquay/Teignmouth/Paignton and even Dartmouth.
No glitzy bar etc,..lovely and quiet but as engergetic as you want it to be
