Shell island crops up many times on the forum and the general consensus is its a great place out of the busy holiday times ie school holidays, bank holidays, it gets too crowded and attracts the drunken yobbos, its a real shame, as otherwise its what camping should be all about, beach side pitching, estuary, harbour, wildlife (not the yobbos) large sand dunes, bathing, ect ect Check out my gallery but go when its quieter, you will then enjoy it, happy camping kiev
