Aeron Coast Holiday Park is great for children. It is in Aberaeron right on the coast.  I think there are several reviews about this site. We were there in July. We don't have any children but there were lots there and loads of things to do. It is a rotten beach but a much nicer one in New Quay a little way down the coast.

We spent a great week at Glan Llyn.    Kids spent hours playing with other kids on site.
It has direct access to Lake Tegid (Bala) - so we when the weather permitted we paddled and played in our dingy.
