I have tickets to the F3 at Brands Hatch this Bank Holiday but am really struggling to find a campsite that is less than around 30 miles away from the racetrack. There is camping on site but I want to camp for 4 nights and the on site camping is only available when there are events on. Don't really want to have to move the tent after two nights!

Has anyone camped near Sevenoaks or Brands Hatch and knows of a site (doesn't have to be anything special) nearby?

Help appreciated!

Not sure how close it is, but have stayed at Pine Lodge http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1574 whilst visiting Leeds Castle for events, was quite nice, but busy when we were there for a summer concert (we were the only tent there when we stayed for the firework display in November). It is close the the motorway and the station isn't too far either.

Haven't stayed there, but I think Oldbury Hill C&CC site http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=3456 is a bit closer.

Are you a CCC member? If so, try Speedgate Farm CS, Dartford BSB 177/55  - that's close to Brands Hatch.

2 loos and basins, 1 shower, 4 hardstands, Coffee shop. Open all year; £8 per night including electric. Based on a livery stables. Gets very muddy in wet weather.

Been looking for a campsite myself for the BTCC weekend..

Has anyone ever camped at Brands Hatch - what are the facilities like?

Have found this site http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=2783 which is 4 miles from BH which might be suitable for you?

The circuit campsite probably varies depending on the event as the facilities are likely to be temporary. Most race circuit campsites will have portable toilets which are kept clean and tidy, they won't always have showers but I would image that there would be chemical disposal points.

The circuit website is motorsportvision.co.uk, have a look on there and give them a ring if the info that you need isn't on there.
