Does anyone know if the showers etc have been finished yet. Also how much is it to camp here (the window on the website won't open properly on our comp. so the prices are cut off) also do they accept large tents we have a peakland chatsworth and its pretty big.I could just ring them of course but its much more fun to post on here and watch the replies roll in (or not)

When are you planning to go to the Manifold Inn? The reason we ask is because we noticed this site on here a couple of days ago and it looked really nice and would like to visit very soon. So if you are going in the near future we would really appreciate your comments when you return, alternatively if we go before you we will let you know what it is like.

Are you near to Ilam Kate? We often stayed at High Top farm and also High Sheen. Even in the summer it's possible to find peaceful sites in Derbyshire.

It's a traditional country show, there's cattle sheep horse, pet classes etc. Vintage tractors and machinery, slow tractor race, show jumping handicrafts, terrier racing trade stands. It's a nice day out that doesn't cost much £3 for adults, under 12's are free, £2 for OAP's and free parking. It's at Castern Hall, Ilam (there'll be signs)
Nope didnt make it this time. I did read a review on another website (sorry cant remember name) and it did put me off a bit. Apparently there are no noise rules and because its a fair walk to the toilets etc a lot of people (and not just children) were using the perimiter as a toilet and also the river bank.I must stress that this is not personal experience and just some comments i happened to come across when browsing the web. We decided not to risk it this time. However if anyone has been and found it to be ok then please put me right as it does look a lovely site
