Try the adults only "Back of Beyond" site at St. Leonards if you are not taking children. It's just a few minutes form the edge of the New Forest and is ideally placed for cycling or walking through it. I spent a week there at the end of August. Clean showers and so peaceful.

Please don't point people to the Back of Beyond cos i like to keep that bit of info quiet so i can be guaranteed a pitch, seriously though it is a great site for adults only and in a great position for all sorts of places.Some good reviews on here about it
