I would like to take my family (8 of us) camping next Sunday for a couple of nights. Can anyone recommend a decent campsite that's likely to have availability or where you don't need to book? Preferably somewhere not too far from the coast. Cheers!

I know I keep raving about this place but it's lovely. Norwood Farm camp site, Newchurch, New Romney, Kent. Really easy to get to. Fridges and freezers provided. The cleanest toilets you will ever see. Peaceful. On sheep farm. Can visit lovely marsh churches, Rye, Hastings, Hythe. Lovely for a short break. A real holiday. Only small, but might have some availability.
