Hi we have booked 4 nights at Sparkhayes in Porlock over the BH. There have been some excellent reviews over the last few years, but nothing at all this year - does anybody know if this is an ominous sign? Please let us know if you've heard anything good or bad this year! I hope it hasn't disappeared into a black hole or something

Probably no reviews due to bad weather in July. However, we camped there from 2nd August for 12 nights and thought it was excellent value for money. A basic site, but clean and friendly. Also, only a 2 minute walk into town for shops and pubs. An excellent base for Exmoor.
