hello can any one recommend any sites for new year. we dont have children but would like some entertainment or get together.
for the past 4 years we have been to blackmore c&cc site and had a really nice time but we would like a change. they didnt have a club but they all got together in the recreation room with food and music taking your own drink with you.
my sister is putting this message on for me as i dont have internet at home. thank you for any replies.
we like worcester or gloucester, somerset. devon, whiltshire. herefordshire. all not too far from home.

We also had two good years at blackmore before they changed the warden[not so good then]last year we went to pen-y-fan in south wales a fiver anight with 6amp electric, quite elevated and darn cold but a pub on site with a good buffet and dance on new years eve.
You could try Waterrow in Somerset, it`s adults only, its a very quiet site but they do have a bit of a do in their barn on New Years eve. I`ve no idea what it`s like as we stayed in our caravan like the miserable old gits that we are! We don`t even stay up till mid-night.
Its a superb adult site but like I say it`s very quiet you may want something with a bit more in the way of entertainment. There is a pub within walking distance though.

I think Kingsbury Water Park CC&C site had a bit of a party-thing going on last year. It's an excellent (award-winning) site.
- The only downside I could find is that their hard-standings are plastic mesh and so it still gets wet & muddy and I think the site could be badly affected if weather conditions were poor.
Binghams Farm (adults only) open for New Year. As far as I know they open up their bar and you all pitch in with food and they have a bit of a bash. It's in Dorset so perhaps a little further than you wanted to go?
Yes I`d forgotten Binghams Farm was open all year. It`s an excellent site and has the big advantage of being way off the road down a long drive for total peace and tranquility. We must go back one day.

Woops! Binghams farm isn`t open all year it just opens at New Year as Fruitymiss said, if I`d bothered to read her post properly, silly me. Have a look at their web-site there`s pictures of their New Year knees up.
