Hi Carole,Depending on what sort of site you are after ,there are loads to choose from around the Buxton area,If no children Longnor wood is a real nice adult only site 1.5 miles from Longnor village with 3 pubs all doing food and nice walks around.If you have children with you and want a little bit more to do the Knockerdown Inn is quite nice close to carsington water ,reasonably prised food,childrens playground and Emus (honest little farm type thing there ! )but can be a bit noisy with the kids playing late.There are literally dozens of sites off the main Ashbourne to Buxton road to suit everyone from basic pub+field to full facilities.Hope you find somewhere nice.
