You may have to take what you can find this weekend and thats if you find one at all as most sites are booked up weeks in advance for the bank hols. I would start ringing around and take the first one that has a vacancy. You could start by using the campsite search on this site, just type in Derbyshire and select county and see what comes up.
Thanks for the advice. We have only stayed at haven sites before so the kids ( and the husband) are used to the indoor pool and play equipment!!!! HELP. They havnt done "real" camping before!!! L.O.L ha ha. I was thinking of the new one in the peak district well i will have to phone them first then
Hope you find something vicky10 its one of the busiest weekends of the year but some people may have cancelled today if they are worried about the weather and you maybe lucky

Where is the new one in the Peak District that you mentioned? We went to the Peaks a couple of weeks ago and we weren't really that happy with the site we stayed on but we'd love to back to the area so we're looking for an alternative.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
