hi im new to ukcs and caravaning, i started this year with a tourer for my kids and also my parents have got a tourer as well my parents are now unable to tow the caravan so we are looking for a perment site for our touring caravans within 1 1/2 hours drive from dartford kent the site must have toilets and showers and a play area for the kids and must takes dogs if anyone can help i will be very greatful many thanks steve

Welcome to ukcs, sorry I can`t help, I expect you`ve looked on the campsite search. Anyway this will be back at the top again now, I`m sure you`ll get more replies later.
We have just come back from Manston near Ramsgate,it is a lovely site,dog friendly and a playpark,it is only minutes to some lovely beaches ie Broadstairs,Ramsgate and Westgate.It is a big park well kept,the toilet/shower block kept lovely an clean and the owners are very friendly always checking if things are ok.There is a shop and a little cafe but it is only about 5 mins to Tesco.It is near airport but you hardly notice the planes in fact it is quite good to see the planes take off.They do not fly out at night.Try it i am sure you will be impressed.Margie
