Shamba springs to mind, i haven't been myself but its recently had a major refurbishment ,but to be honest you'll probably be pushed to find a site better than Wareham Forest

They have had a major refurbishment, but I'm afraid the lane is still pot holed and has the concrete blocks along it to make access difficult. We went along there recently for the first time in 4 years, and its worse now than it ever was. There is still the scrap yard next door too and the owner has thinned out the hedges and trees to make it more prominent.  The lane is private and owned by the scrap yard owner, who refuses to make good the lane or allow anyone else to do it.  Any attempts to fill in the holes results in him getting out his JCB and digging them bigger.

Have a look at the Forest Holidays sites, they hae a number of sites in the new Forest (the one we like the most is Roundhill).

http://www.forestholidays.co.uk/caravanandcamping/new-forest.asp

No problems with BIG tents, they have an open pitch policy.
