Hi progresswunity,

We had two great weeks in August this year at Fauxquets Valley campsite.A brilliant camp site! Very clean and modern facilities, large pitches,a swimming pool and a nice place on site to eat and drink called the Haybarn. The campsite is situated in the middle of Guernsey giving it easy access to all parts of the island. The only bit of advice I would give you is dont pitch too near to the swimming pool, not noisey but busy! Also take a torch as there is no lighting on the site apart from the toilets and restaurant area.Theres a small shop on site for basics etc,and near to St Peter Port is a Safeway supermarket.Hope this is helpful to you. Were hoping to return to the island soon ....a smashing part of the world!

We have also stayed at Beuvelande camping site in Jersey a few years ago near Gorey.Another brilliant campsite really!Very clean facilities nice bar/restaurant, swimming pool, shop etc.

cheers,

camperman

No,site wasent busy as in 'too many campers',but if you camped by the swimming pool you would have campers walking backwards and forwards past your tent. There again this would be an ideal pitch for someone with young children who like the pool.We booked in February for August(site and ferry same time).Another good point is you can choose which pitch you want on arrival.Theres lots of space for children to play, ride bikes etc. Considering it was the height of the season it was a quiet and relaxing site.
