Hi all

Just booked for our first caravan club C.L. site  for this weekend ,and found  out it is next to Martin mere in Lancachire were "August watch " is being filmed for BBC 2, Bill Oddie and friends  for the next 2 weeks.

Has anybody stopped there before its called Marsh Vista, looks a lovely site , can't wait

Hi Chris,  We are been to the same cl site and your lucky to get on its a very busy site. All the bird watchers use it.  Of course like you say its next door to Martin Mere.  Great cl with lots of trees and lovely shade for summer.

Thanks for your reply, not far from you ,used to live and work in Leigh many years ago.

Was trying to find a nice site for us to use in the winter as we camp all year round  , not to far away so we get there before it gets dark.And i found this one .

Hope the trees are not to big as i take sky for television , and hope i can find the satalite
