Are any of these any good?

Northwich area campsites

The only one we've stayed at is Forest View. Lovely pub and nice food but the loo block is quite a walk from the touring pitches - it's in amongst the statics for some strange reason.

Nantwich has its own campsite next to the park in the town centre. It is council owned and run. I have never stayed there but we bought an FC off a family in Nantwich and they took us there to demonstrate it so I had a good look around. Its a nice small site with EHU and decent shower facilities. Its within walking distance of the centre for shopping etc.

Looks like the Nantwich site is closed at the moment as this is what's shown on the Nantwich council web page:-

Brookfield Caravan Park - Nantwich

Please Note - this caravan site is temporarily closed pending a review of the facilities.

I would recommend Forest View too - I think Caz recommended it to us,  the pub food is lovely and it was great to have a break from the cooking.  You are close to Delamere for walking etc.  Sites are few and far between in Nantwich, but there are some nice ones in Tarporley - I have posted a review.  Nantwich is a great place to visit (if a little expensive).  Try our local..the Swan at Wybunbury for good food and atmosphere, real ale!  Hope you have a great trip to our neck of the woods!

I had a look at Brookfield in the summer and it was smelly, poorly kept and didn't look too safe to me!

The Swan Inn at Wybunbury is where the Lotus 7 Club Cheshire & Staffs Area  meet every second Wednesday of the month so it must be a great pub

Elm Cottage looks really nice although we have not visited it yet - it was full this weekend

If you fancy popping in the oposite direction try THIS site not far off the A50 - not cheap but plenty going on there
