Hi,

We're staying inbetween Llanelli & Carmarthen during half-term week and was hoping that some of the happy campers who live in South Wales could give me their local knowledge of places to go - we are planning on visiting beaches, castles & eating in a few nice pubs!

OK then AngieGL, plenty to do locally!

<FONT color=#008000>Pembrey country park, Kidwelly Castle, National Botanic Garden of Wales, Burry Port Harbour, Aberglasney Gardens, Pembrey race circuit, are all pretty much immediately local.

Pendine/Amroth/Wisemans bridge/Saundersfoot/Tenby beaches about 25 miles west, Pembroke/Carew/Llawhaden castles about the same

<FONT color=#008000>Eating out at the White Hart or the Butchers inn at Llanddarog (Word of warning-dont have lunch before, these two pubs back onto each other and both try and out do each other on taste,variety,price and amount of food!!)
