I was thinking of trying Trevornick next year but the site does look rather cramped so still searching.
ER..... have a look at the picture on my profile, taken of our pitch at Trevornick fully set up with awning and flags...........not exactly cramped
well i do admit your pitch doesn't look cramped, but we went to Holywell Bay for the day whilst at Pentewan and had a look around Trevornick and most pitches looked quite crammed.
Maybe you had a Super Pitch as cars were parked on roads making it look difficult to get by.
Apart from this looks like a nice place.

Went five years ago and it was brilliant. Can't go now because we have the dog to think about. And if he can't go, we don't.
If you have a dog why not think about their other site, Heligan Woods, it's just up the road from Pentewan & it takes dogs. From what I hear, people on Heligan Woods have free access to Pentewan but I don't think they can bring the dogs with them.
Seaview international takes dogs, my mate went there at the end of September & he loved it.

Hi Basil. We know about Heligan Wood, but we still cannot take our dog onto the Pentewan site if we go there. I thought it was brilliant when we went there. Seaveiw International.. We are going to have a look at that. Thanks.

www.seaviewinternational.com it's a really lovely site, my mate loves it there. We went to look at the place because he went on about it so much & I have to say it's lovely. We stick to Pentewan because our kids have mates who go there so they voted me out.
On the was to Seaview, you go past Heligan woods & just as you turn into the lost garden of heligan, there's a new farm shop called Lobbs, it's in the Lost garden car park & what a lovely farm shop. They sell literally everything you could want to go on the table. They know how to charge for it too mind but it's well worth a look round. Handy for a bit of steak for tea without the long car trip into St Austell to get it.
We had decided not to book for this year again, when my daughter got a letter from her penfriend she met last year at Pentewan, asking what pitch no we will be on this year ?? as they had theirs.... OOOOPS.... my daughter turned to me excitedly and asked where we would be next year..... yes youve guessed it booked 3 weeks for next year, may as well while kids are youngish and still enjoy it so much and we did say we would still go to Cornwall.

That's why we do it Pam, our kids & the kids from several families have become good mates & they have a cracking time together there. They spend hours together & are not one ounce of trouble no matter what the weather. We've just become a catering service now they're all in their teens but at least we can put our feet up.
We'll be glad to get down there at easter now to see the improvements mentioned in the brochure.
Yes I had not seen all the improvements till hubby pointed them out, I was amazed to see the new front row behind the play area, cant decide if Id fancy that row dont think it would be the most relaxing place, but good if you have really little ones maybe.

Got in on pitch H5 for next year(21July- 4 Aug) this will be our 3rd time at Pentewan & we`ve always found the toilets & showers spotless(except the 1 by the slipway) if anything I think they clean a little bit too much, they could stagger the cleaning times a bit for the toilets. Just as Seriff said, we`ve never had any problems with rowdy teenagers.
We have booked on H6 on 21st July so will see you there!

See you there Superbladesman, by the way do you think you`ll be staying up this season, I hope you do, I have a lot of time for Neil Warnock-one of footballs decent blokes who`s not afraid to speak his mind. I`m just hoping my lot (mighty `ammers`) have not left it too late.

I hope we do, I think Watford & Charlton are gone but the last place is up for debate, my feeling is Wigan will go, and with their support their fans don't deserve Premiership football so that will do me! We are all looking forward to hols, not been there before but heard decent reports. Having a week there and then a week in Devon straight after.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
