It depends on where you go Andy, I've had no problems with Devon or Cornwall. I think it's the same anywhere, you have to take the trouble to look.

hi rednuts yes it is poss to find places in cornwall/devon and i agree you have to look around but you have to admit they are not very motorhome friendly there as you know [wildcamping]is sometimes the only option as i found once up in blackpool [the worst place ever for motorhomes]we dropped off our son in liverpool uni and were late stopping off in .everwhere was shut not their fault i know but you have to sleep when you are tired by law that is and all we found were signs saying overnight camping not allowed signs all over the place so what do you do?as is the same down the west country this is a grey area i know but we as motorhome owners are as you most prob know pay the same as caravan owners but are treated otherwise.oh i dunno this could be talked about forever and never sorted roll on next summer eh?andy.....

 hi rednuts

Sounds painful. [:o)]

As you say, you could waffle on forever about who is accepted where and who is treated more fairly. Personally I've never bothered losing any sleep over it.

I mainly use CL sites. There's no set booking in time generally and I've never encountered any discrimination.
