Looking for a decent site near Conwy and this one seems to fit the bill. Reviews look good. Looking on the map, it seems to be surrounded by arrowed hills. Just wondering if anyone has knowledge of the access routes and if the hills are problematic for a touring van. Many thanks.

Hi Kevin, We tried to find this site with no luck. The lanes are very narrow around that area but not very busy so you should be ok.We ended up staying at this site which is very close to conwy http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=4369

Very nice site, might be worth a look.

Have a look at Roberts Caravan Park which is also in Abergele. We visited last summer for a week and loved it. Access to this park was no problem at all. Unfortunately, can't comment on Hunters Hamlet as we've never stayed there.

Many thanks for the ideas. We will have a wider search. Hunters Hamlet sounded good as it has all facilities and only 23 pitches.

Gram, we had a look at Conwy, looks good but seems very large with 400 pitches. What is it like at peak season?
