Does anyone know of any campsites in Derbyshire that would allow a group (maybe a dozen or so) of female campers. I know some have rules on same sex groups, and others have rules on making noise at night and as we come under both these catagories we might struggle to find somewhere.

We're just a group of mates wanting a weekend away sometime in the summer, nothing too roudy, but dont' want to have to force ourselves to be quiet at the worry of disturbing others.

Ideally we're after somewhere where we can sit around the campfire, eating, drinking and having a laugh

Hi, not Derbyshire but close, the Wild Boar near Wincle in Cheshire, send them an email or phone and ask, you can find them under the sites on here.

It's near to Matlock Bath and certainly allows large groups. Myself and friends (Perhaps 10 tents) go there each year. The owners seem very accomodating.
